The official launch of TDEX & the release of the TDEX Open Source

TDEX Launched Officially

With the official launch of TDEX, Tigris now offers a complete set of DeFi solutions, including Collateralized Debt Service (CDS) and Staking Services. Hundreds of thousands of users are already using Tigris services on TTC Connect.

Starting June 19, 2020 at 12:00 pm (Singapore Time), both buyers and sellers are to pay a service fee (0.25% of the transaction volume in the form of TTC) for each successful transaction. The service fees are allocated in the Tigris Reserve to be distributed as the rewards for the CLAY Staking Service and CFiat Staking Service.

As the transaction volume in TDEX increases, the Tigris Reserve will grow as well. As a result, we believe that Tigris ecosystem will become more sustainable and reliable, backed by the larger reserve.

TDEX Open Source Published

We developed TDEX in April 2019 and operated it for more than a year with continuous updates. We decided to make TDEX as an open source with the official launch in June 2020 and published it on GITHUB.

Key Features

Fully Decentralized
While many so-called decentralized exchanges integrate the Smart Contract for only ‘order’ and ‘cancel’, TDEX realizes every process — through Smart Contracts.

High Security
In TDEX, users own the custody and control of their assets and all the transactions are processed securely through Smart Contracts. Such structure protects the assets safely from unauthorized attacks on wallets and servers.

High Efficiency
TTC blockchain enables hundreds of transactions to be processed per block and each transaction to be completed within 6 seconds, from order, match to transfer.

Jisu Park, CEO of SOOHO said “TDEX raised the bar on the security standard for the decentralized exchanges through constant code inspection and refactoring.” He added “The (TDEX) team definitely did its best to build one of the most reliable decentralized exchange environments in the market.” The SOOHO team is composed of world renowned hackers who have managed to compete as finalists at the world’s largest hacking tournament, DEFCON, every year thus far, and have won the best technology award at the Binance Hackathon 2019. The team has also completed penetration testing with The Bank of Korea, Samsung Electronics, Hana Capital, Hanwha General Insurance, and AXA.

TDEX Open Source Applications

Verify how TDEX works
Anyone can verify how TDEX works with the TDEX Open Source. We believe that transparency enables everyone to contribute to building a more reliable ecosystem.

Develop own Defi Services
With the TDEX Open Source, anyone can build and launch their own DeFi Services on blockchain. We hope to contribute to the mass adoption of the decentralized finance services by providing a fully-decentralized and easy-to-apply open source project.

We are excited to announce the official launch of the TDEX, which plays an important role for both Tigris and TTC ecosystem by providing liquidity among digital assets and bridging the gap between various dapps. Moreover, we invite the developer community to join in and expand the ecosystem together with TDEX Open Source.

We have many more exciting updates on its way. So, stay tuned.
