The 21st Kaywon Online Film Festival ended successfully on June 7, 2020.

The 21st ‘Kaywon Online Film Festival’ was held online for the first time to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is a film festival representing the theater and film department at Kaywon High School of Arts. It is a traditional film festival whereby students aspiring to become film directors have produced films and met with the audience.

A total of 16 films were screened during the festival period and online screenings held worldwide for free. With variety of genres and films made over 30k views in just 10 days.

Along with the opening of the festival, MovieBloc received some support videos from famous alumni such as actor Hwang Jung-min, Joo Won, Jeon Hye-bin, director Bora Kim, Chung Hyun Lee, and also held series of activities to increase the popularity of the festival.

Although the festival ended, We screened two of the 16 films that performed best in terms of views, likes, ratings, comments and these two films were nominated for Moviebloc Pick Round 5 in order to select the best film by voting. Thank you.
