Dr. Ji Youl Lee, Smart hospital director said “When it comes to prostate cancer patients, exercise prescription is very important but it is very difficult for medical staffs to keep track of patients’ actual exercise records. Using wearable devices will significantly improve the treatment efficiency by collecting patient health data with appropriate compensation and providing personally customized treatment.”

The Catholic Univ. of Korea Seoul St.Mary’s smart hospital was opened last year to meet a changing medical paradigm along with the 4th industrial revolution. The smart hospital consists of 5 specialized centers, Smart Infra, AI, Big Data, Telemedicine and Smart rehabilitation center. Also, in order to improve efficiency for patient consultation, they’ve adopted mobile application for patients, mobile EMR and ENR.
